1968 Cougar w/331
So many local shops advertized we sell custom stainless exhaust and sell wrinkly pipes for not much less than this kit. I wanted 2.5" mandrel bent pipes in stainless steel. This was the only one I could find that was as close to original exhaust design (Offset in center out) with mandrel bends. I added TCP frame connectors and a X brace so the X pipe would not fit for my application but I wanted an H pipe anyway. The intermeadiate pipes fit well with out the X I have midlength Dougs headers and there was not enough pipe to install once the X was removed, (Had two 3 foot J bends to fill in the gap). Had I kept the original long tube headers and the X pipe it would not have been a problem. (no Fault of the kit design). Once we got the front taken care of the rest was very simple. The tail pipes fit like a glove and the turn downs came out perfect 2 inches behind the valnce panel as I wanted. For those of you that want out the back pipes showing you will need to buy extra pipe for the Cougar body. Mustang owners may have plenty. The quality of the bends, fitment and heavy pipe wall are a big plus this should last a very long time. Nice low tone at idle and it talks to ya when your on it.

New Magna on a 68 Mustang
I wanted to upgrade my original exhaust and muffler system on 302 to match my new headers, and Magnaflow did the job. Ordered parts on line and they were at my buddies door for installation the next evening. Hottexahust even threw in the 3 inch to 2 1/2 inch collectors as I was attaching to 3 inch three-bolt outlet of Hedman Long tube headers. Pieces installed easily, but we did weld collectors to pipe, hangers and tail pipe to original dual exhausts to retain factory look. Exhaust are tucked up nice and tight and the sound is great. Low purr at idle with increased throatiness on acceleration.

MagnaFlow for '69 Stang
Shipping was quick, installation was easy with a four post lift, everything fit great. Still getting used to the new sound, (coming from flowmasters), but everyone seems to love it and I think it would go magnaflow again.
