Great Quality!
I drive a 2004 Honda Civic Ex (1.7L Vtec engine, no mods). Last year I had an exhaust shop install 2.25" pipe (from the catalytic converter back), an AP glasspack (12" long) and a Magnaflow oval performance muffler. The sound was great until I hit 3500 RPM's. Then it would get raspy (sounded like someone running a weed wacker up against a tree) and that sound would continue into the higher RPM's. After about 8 months I also started hearing a vibration along with the raspyness. The vibration would not only occur at the higher RPM's but also when I was backing out of my garage or a parking space. I decided to get this Magnaflow resonator to see if it would eliminate the rasp and vibration. I had the exhaust shop cut out the glasspack and add the Magnaflow and it completely got rid of the rasp and vibration all through the rev range and also no vibration when backing up. The car is a little quieter than it was with the glasspack as a resonator, but I can definitely tell I still have a performance exhaust system on the car.
