After looking for the perfect exhaust (videos, reviews, videos) this seemed like it. Install: Super easy. Look: It similar to my stock on the '15 FRS but the brushed silver steel looks amazing. The rest of the exhaust just looks great, clean. A few of the welds look meh, but not that it looks weak or inferior. This isn't a 'deduct a point' complaint because functionally it looks like a good weld. I only mention it for weld-porn guys, they might be disappointed. Sound: Beautiful. Nice deep slightly more boxer rumble. It is loud when you want it to be, but never wake the sheriff two counties over load, about 5k it screams (but still maintains a good pitch) and at cruising speeds it almost sounds stock (no drone so far).

Let me start by saying that when I set off to research the various exhaust systems for my FR-S, volume was a big concern of mine. I live in a quiet residential neighbourhood and I didn't want to cause a raucous after upgrading my exhaust. This system fit the bill. It is louder than stock when you want it to be and tame when you want it to be. No drone on the highway (very important for me). The tone on startup and idle is deep and smooth. Driving around town is a joy because you are always aware of what the engine is doing when shifting gears, even feathering the throttle on the downshift sounds great and you are rewarded with a deep boxer rumble when you get on the throttle (I also have an Injen SP1230 - which I picked up from Hottexhaust). The Mangaflow 15157 kit came literally the next day after I ordered it. This site has the best shipping and after tax+shipping price I've found in Canada. I had a local garage install it a couple days after it was at my door and it took them less than 20 minutes, it was that easy. The fit and finish is great makes the rear-end look more sporty and aggressive (way better than stock). The horsepower/torque gain is subtle but noticeable and the sound is inspiring across the board. An easy 5 star rating from me. I had Babes & Lightning Muffler in San Jose install the Cat back exhaust system. I think it took him longer to remove the packaging than to install the system. It was that easy.

Installed this exhaust on a 2015 Subaru Brz STI. Took 1.5hrs to install including the old removal, and a few beers!! Only complaint (minor) about fitment, was the resonator comes very close to the body at the back, tip for install: loosely install the whole system, stuff some rags in between the resonator where it comes close, and try to get as much clearance as possible, then tighten all the clamps. Otherwise magnaflow has some of the best sounding exhaust i've heard, nice deep mellow tone, perfect sound right to redline with NO rasp at all. cruising at speed and the exhaust is quiet, slightly louder than stock, with NO drone. Service at hottexhaust was EXCELLENT, super fast shipping (at my door next morning as promised), very courteous, i am extremely pleased with my painless purchased. Product was very well packed and flawless. Rarely do i review products and services, but hottexhaust was probably the best experience I've had in a LONG time!!

The MagnaFlow CBE sounds great, with no droning. While noticeably louder , it is far from being too loud. There is no drone while driving.

Product was delivered very quickly. Instal from start to finish was less than 30 min. 4 bolts and 5 hangers and the stock exhaust was out, install of the new exhaust took even less time all done in my garage with hand tools by myself.
