Over all I’m very happy with the product, bolted up with no issues sounds great. It said it was In stock when I ordered it. Turns out they had to make one, so it ended up taking about 5 weeks to get the exhaust. other then the waiting I really have no complaints. Good product not super loud but kinda burbles when not on the throttle and doesn’t drone.

Received the product a little late, but the biggest 3 issues I have are 1. The product is advertised as a "Stainless Catback system", which is partially true and partially false. The system had stainless components, but the welds were all non-stainless and the tubing also is not stainless. Kind of defeats the point of paying for what looks like a full stainless product and performs and lasts like one therefore. 2. The product is "guaranteed fitment" - which implies no adjustment or add-ons to fit - but it didn't fit - the mechanic had to add 4" of extra tubing to get it to fit to the catalytic - and 3. the hangers aren't well aligned as it was pressing tightly to the gas-tank. Beware of what you are purchasing and best to call to verify - my lessons learned. Hottexhaust-Hello Colin, the system consists of 409 ss tubing, 409 stainless muffler and resonator (core) with a 304 SS wrap. Fitment is guaranteed when following installation instructions, there is also a toll free techline for install assistance ( on the install sheet)..The Matrix system is 1 piece (OEM) and requires cutting to install, with specific cut points referenced in the install instructions.I'm assuming your installer didnt follow the install instructions or call the techline..1800-959-9226 ext 4500..we've sold 142 of the Matrix systems since 2007, never had a fit issue..Call the techline and they'll guide you through proper installation.

I couldn’t find any videos that really did a good job to capture the sound of what this exhaust sounded like on my car. There were various fly by and in car clips but the audio of an exhaust seems to be a hard thing to accurately capture. I knew I wanted a magnaflow because my reaearch suggested this was the only catback out there that was available. I ended up paying a shop to install it, the firmest was great and came with everything neeed. As soon as I turned the key over I knew I had made the right choice. I drove home and took several detours just to go through the rev range, especially the upper rpm band. It sounds great, and I am pleased with the product from Magnaflow. Hottexhaust was easy to work with as well!

I bought a MagnaFlow exhaust system for my jetta and loved it. Sound was just right not too loud so you could hear yourself in the car and won't attract cops. Notice difference in pick up as well. So I bought one for my toyota matrix with same results and plan to buy one for my volvo s80. Hottexhaust had best price and hope to buy more systems in the future.

We bought this system for our 2006 Pontiac Vibe. The fit is perfect, simple installation and the sound is wonderful. Cruising at highway speeds there is no drone at all. Highly recommended!
