I had been considering an upgrade to the stock exhaust system on the 2008 GX I recently purchased. I liked that someone had actually designed a system with a primary focus of improving ground clearance. I also liked the generally positive reviews regarding the sound. So I ordered one. When I received the box from FedEx, I noted a couple of holes in the box but it didn't look like severe damage from the outside so I accepted it. However, when I opened it, I was disappointed to see that although the piping was unscathed, the muffler outlet pipe was caved in. I contacted customer service who were quick to respond to my concern. We discussed the possibility of sending out a new muffler but it seemed excessive unless I couldn't find a way to fix it myself. It took some time, but I was able to get the outlet in shape well enough to fit the tailpipe. The rest of the system was top notch. Magnaflow has done their homework in fitting the system. The hanger attachments were ever so slightly off but still within the tolerance to fit on the rubber isolators. The bends in the tubing were precise so that fitting over the rear axle was easy and well routed so there was no contact to the body or surrounding components. Everything fit well, the clamps were a robust design and held well. I liked the weight. It was light enough that one person could actually install it without too much trouble. And the exhaust sound is throaty but not overpowering. It was subtly growling. Overall a nice well designed product. The packaging just needs some improvement. Please consider adding carboard sleeves the muffler ends to prevent damage due to the sharp unprotected ends cutting the box and protruding out so that unconcerned delivery personnel don't damage the contents when they throw them out their trucks. I installed this cat back on my gx460 and it is exactly what I was looking for. Louder than stock exhaust, but not obnoxiously loud. Nice deep throaty sound from the Lexus v8. No drone at all on the highway. Fun to drive!!

Extremely good quality exhaust. Install was a breeze. Sounds deep not too loud I am very pleased. Hottexhaust hard to get hold of will not return calls or emails
