Installation was easy , noticed better throttle response. great product

I bought the S&B intake recently, and I have to say it is quite easy to install and the performance is outstanding. I would recommend this product to anyone. My only complaint is also the clear top like James mentioned. Mine was not as bad as a 1/4'', however a gap is definitely present. Thanks Hottexaust!

This S&B cold air intake is built like a brick, really tough and sturdy. Installation was surprisingly simple and the instructions are dead on. This intake replaces the entire stock air box, you literally remove all traces of the OEM air box. This is a good thing in my opinion and really helps with mounting and keeping it very sturdy. It also looks really nice and clean under the hood. My only complaint is the clear top. I love the way it looks but it doesn't even come close to being sealed, which kind of defeats the purpose, right? I'm not sure if it was just mine but the holes on the corners were just a bit too close together, resulting in a bow in the center. I'd say there was at least a 1/4 inch gap. I'm gonna get some sticky foam or something to help fix this problem. Very surprising after going through the installation and seeing how well built everything is, only to have it all kind of ruined by the one piece that should have been the easiest manufacture, not to mention the one piece that is noticed the most. As far as performance goes, my truck seems to be a bit more responsive. I don't pay too much attention to MPG's since that's not why I purchased a HEMI truck. Honestly, I made the purchase because it just looks mean when you pop the hood.

I've only had it installed since Friday morning, but this intake is awesome. I haven't noticed any MPG increase but mostly because I can't keep my foot out of it, the sound is amazing! You can tell it flows much better than the stock intake just by the increase in throttle response throughout.
